Ankit Bhargava is an architect and urbanist focusing on spatial planning, urban governance, system-design, and architecture. As a researcher and practitioner, Bhargava has extensive experience from public/community-based projects. Previously work includes bottom-up planning initiatives in Bengaluru, regional economic and spatial strategy in Musandam, Oman and an aerotropolis planning in Xiamen, China. As the co-founder of Sensing Local, a Bengaluru-based do-tank, Bhargava’s strength lies in his analytical approach, including data gathering and re-structuring of information, to understand and address complex, urban challenges.
