Sobia Rafiq
Architect and Urban Environmental Planner
Sobia Rafiq is an urban development professional, with expertise in urban data collection, analysis and planning. Rafiq’s work focuses on a range of issues impacting the environment, including solid waste management, air pollution reduction and lake rejuvenation. As the co-founder of Sensing Local, a Bengaluru-based do-tank, Rafiq applies an evidence-based systems approach to urban planning through participatory planning and design. Rafiq is highly skilled in managing the liaison and mediation between diverse stakeholders.
